About the role
VIP Gifts Article is a gifting business serving individual and corporate customers. We are looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to build and deploy practical AI solutions that make gift discovery, customer support and order workflows faster and more helpful. You will work close to real use cases: understanding what our team and customers need, building AI-powered assistants and recommendation workflows, connecting them to our APIs and backend services, testing them on real-world scenarios, and improving AI features once they are live.
What you will do
- Build and deploy practical AI solutions for real business and customer use cases.
- Develop AI-powered assistants and recommendation workflows, for example for gift suggestions.
- Integrate AI features with APIs and backend services.
- Test solutions against real-world scenarios and fix weaknesses found.
- Monitor and improve AI features running in production.
- Document what you build so the team can use and maintain it.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience building software with Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Practical experience with AI or machine learning projects, including large language model based applications.
- Experience integrating APIs and backend services.
- Ability to test and debug a feature against real-world use cases.
- Clear communication with non-technical teammates.
